Blake Shelton Nominated For 5 Awards at the 2013 CMAs

He may have three Voice wins under his giant belt buckle, but Blake Shelton has no plans on stopping there. The 37-year-old country crooner was just nominated for 5 Country Music Association awards including Entertainer of the Year.

Last year Blake took home the top prize, so hopefully he’ll be able to snag another win. In addition to Entertainer of the Year, Blake’s nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Based on a True Story, Musical Event of the Year for “Boys ‘Round Here,” and Music Video of the Year for the same song.

Blake’s country star wife, Miranda Lambert, is nominated for three awards as an independent artist and two for her group the Pistol Annies.

Luckily these two only have to compete in the Music Video of the Year category. Typically they’re duking it out battle round style!

Do you think Blake will be able to take home the top prize? Tell us below!
