And the good news keeps rollin' on in for country music power couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert! The Voice coach and his lovely wife have both been nominated for 2013 American Music Awards — in the categories of Favorite Country Male Artist and Favorite Country Female Artist, respectively.
Blake is up against 22-year-old Hunter Hayes and 2012 winner Luke Bryan, while Miranda faces competition from 2007 winner Carrie Underwood and five-time winner Taylor Swift. While this would be Miranda's first time winning this category at the AMAs, hubby Blake has one win under his belt from 2011.
In addition to their AMA nominations, Blake and Miranda have been nominated for multiple CMAs and will be performing at the event, airing on November 6.
Hopefully Blake's lucky streak will continue so he can boast four consecutive Voice wins. So far things are looking good for the "Boys 'Round Here" singer, who snagged voiceover artist E.G. Daily, cowboy crooner Justin Chain, and eclectic singer-songwriter Holly Henry.
Voice win or not, it's been one heck of a good year for Blake and Miranda. The only thing that could make it better? If those weekly pregnancy rumors were true!
The 2013 American Music Awards will air during a live broadcast from the NOKIA Theatre in L.A. on Sunday, November 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Will you watch?
