If you’ve been keeping up with Bones spoilers, then you know that Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will be tying the knot this season. Forget that Booth was forced to call off the wedding at the end of last season.
Through some wonderful miracle or twist of fate — not that Dr. B believes in miracles, mind you — things change, and Booth and Brennan end up walking down the aisle. Oh, and it’s happening as soon as this October.
But who will B&B invite to their wedding? TV Guide has the guest list, and Executive Producer Stephen Nathan promises that it’s “massive.” Stephen tells the site that “virtually all our available Squints” will be there, including Wendell (Michael Grant Terry), Daisy (Carla Gallo), Clark (Eugene Byrd), Aristoo (Pej Vahdat), Fisher (Joel Moore) and newbie Oliver (Brian Klugman).
There’s no mention of Finn, but that’s likely because actor Luke Kleintank is busy filming a guest role on Pretty Little Liars. And we were still holding out hope that Zack Addy (Eric Millegan) might find some way to break out of that mental institution and make it to his former boss’ big day. Sadly, it sounds like that is not happening. The wedding appears to be Zack-free.
Also absent from the big day is Booth’s little brother Jared (Brendan Fehr), thanks to pre-existing military obligations. [Just so you know, our inner Roswell fangirl is sobbing about this right now. Like, actually sobbing.] But on the bright side, Booth’s grandpa Hank (Ralph Waite), his mom, Marianne (Joanna Cassidy), and his son, Parker (Ty Panitz) will all be there.
Even Cyndi Lauper will return as medium Avalon Harmonia, but another famous celebrity guest star won’t make the celebration: Zooey Deschanel! Emily’s real-life little sis was offered the chance to reprise her earlier role as Brennan’s socially awkward cousin, Margaret Whitesell. Unfortunately, her busy filming schedule for FOX’s New Girl prevented Zooey from being able to make it.
