David Boreanaz (Agent Seeley Booth) is up to his old tricks, you guys. On Twitter, he likes to press the panic button for Bones fans, as he did ramping up to the Season 7 Finale by hinting that Booth may have been killed off, he’s done again by suggesting that Season 8 might be Bones’ last — even though Hart Hanson has already said it’s not. So David, we will beat you at your own game.

Here are 5 reasons that our hearts will go on, should Bones’ choose not to.

1.  Baby Christine and Baby Michael Spin-Off
Can you think of two babies better equipped to take on the world than these two child prodigies? The collective gene pool and brain power of Booth, Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins (TJ Thyne) would create nothing less than show starring adorable baby geniuses that we’d tune into every single week. Working title: Babes.

2. Brennan Lives On in Print
Dr. Kathy Reichs originally created the character Brennan in her crime novels series, and she’s still churning them out — 17 books and counting! Even though the Brennan of Reichs’ books differs somewhat from that of Bones, we can still get our fix if we need it.

3. Three Words: Buffy on Netflix
We all need some David Boreanaz hotness from time to time (ideally, weekly), and as long as we keep our Netflix account up and running we can watch him chase Buffy around Sunnydale to our heart’s content. So there.

4. The Hook-Up Has Happened
After tuning in for 7 seasons, we finally got what we wanted when Brennan and Booth became a couple. And while we love seeing them together — can you imagine the despair if they’d dragged this on for yet another season, and then, gasp, forever? At least we’ve gotten to see what domesticated B & B looks like — totally worth the wait.

5. Bones Movie!
In the tradition of FireflyStar Trek and The X-Files (sorta), Bones show may need to be off the air in order to make it to the big screen. And we mean a Bones movie for realsies starring the EmDes and David B — not the cheesy blockbuster “Bone of Contention” thankyouverymuch.
