With Bones finally back to filming after it’s winter break — and by winter break, we mean Emily Deschanel’s (Brennan) maternity leave — we can’t stop thinking about new mama Emily and her little bundle of joy.

Does baby Henry visit his mother on set? If so, let’s get him in front of the camera stat for an adorable Bones cameo! Here are 5 reasons we’d love to see Emily’s real-life son on the show.

5. Family members have cameo roles on Bones all the time.
John Francis Daley’s (Sweets) dad played a suspect in an episode last season. David Boreanaz’s (Booth) father infamously made some awesome photocopies in the background of a scene from Bones’ 100th episode.

Plus, do we even need to mention Emily’s own sister, Zooey Deschanel? Before landing New Girl, Zooey appeared in Bones Season 5 as Brennan’s quirky, Ben Franklin-quoting cousin Margaret. So if Emily’s sister can score a guest role on the show, certainly her son can, too.

4. We still haven’t even seen a picture of Henry yet. We want to know what he looks like!
Unlike many of her Bones co-stars, Emily Deschanel still doesn’t have a Twitter account. As a result, we fans have no way of knowing what she ate for breakfast this morning … or what her favorite emoticon is. But most importantly? It also means we have no cute pictures of her child doing random, yet utterly adorable things.

Come on Emily, join the Twitterverse already! Obviously, doing so would be incredibly productive... (Super convincing, aren’t we? Hmm, would it help if we said “please”?)

3. He’s from a whole family of performers, so acting is in his blood.
Sure, Henry is only 3 months old right now … but we’re sure he’s totally a natural on camera. His mom’s an actress. His dad’s a writer and an actor. Let’s not forget about Aunt Zooey, either! Not only is she the star of her own TV show, but the gal is practically the queen of quirky indie films.

2. He’s probably on the Bones set all the time, anyway.
Babies like to be around their mommies. Even if he’s got pre-pumped milk and a watchful sitter, we’re pretty sure that little Henry will still visit the Bones set to be with his mom. In fact, we like to imagine that he’s sitting right off-camera: getting fussed over by the cast and crew and waiting for a big hug from mama after every take.

1. He would give Michael Hodgins and Baby Bones another cute co-star.
What’s even better than  having two adorable infants on your favorite TV show? Why, having three adorable infants, of course! It’s simple baby mathematics. Cuteness factor increases when there are even more cute things around.

Plus, Michael and Baby B are bound to need a couple of playmates in the Jeffersonian nursery. Maybe little Henry can join them in the playpen one day!
