5 Things You Didn't Know About Bones' John Francis Daley
In honor of John Francis Daley’s (Sweets) Bones writing debut, we thought we would share five things you probably didn’t know about the talented 25-year-old.
5. His dad is an actor too. Tonight’s “The Truth in the Myth” will feature not one Daley man, but two! John’s dad, R.F., is also an actor, and we’ll see him opposite his son as Terry Bemis. This isn’t the first time the duo has appeared on the small screen together: R.F. played John’s on-screen father in Boston Public in 2000.
4. He holds a black belt in kung fu. Translation: He’s strong and limber.
3. He got his keyboard skills from his mom. John plays keyboard and sings vocals for the band Dayplayer. He credits his mad musical skills to his mother, who’s a piano teacher.
2. He’s one of VH1’s “100 Greatest Teen Stars.” Five years ago John was ranked number 94 on VH1’s list of the “100 Greatest Teen Stars.” He edged out Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Shepherd) by five places. Way to outdo McDreamy, J!
1. He’s related to the mayor of Chicago. Richard M. Daley is his dad’s second cousin.
