Yes, we know you’re upset Bones just moved it’s fall finale from December 15 to January 12 — we are, too!

Up until this morning, we thought we’d still be getting two more new episodes before Bones took it’s long mid-season break. Now, thanks to a Fox scheduling switchup, December 15’s  Season 5, Episode 6: "The Crack in the Code" will now air on January 12. Translation? Only one more new Bones episode this year!

Now, it’s only natural to want to lay blame when such a great, life-altering injustice has occurred. We understand. Just be careful with where you are directing your wrath. You know who’s not to blame? Bones producer Stephen Nathan and creator Hart Hanson.

On December 5, Stephen tweeted, “To those of you who think @HartHanson and I schedule #Bones: Thanks for giving us super powers.”

Get that? The decision to push back Episode 6’s airdate: Not Hart or Stephen’s. Nope, we’re pretty sure it’s the Fox higher-ups who make that choice.

Plus, it’s not like we’re losing any Bones episodes. We just have to learn a bit of good ‘ole-fashioned patience and restraint. We’re sure the wait will be worth it. It always is!
