With Daisy (Carla Gallo) providing reliable comic relief and Angela (Michaela Conlin) on laugh-fire this week, there sure were a lot of quotations to choose from in Bones’s latest episode! Here are our top three:

1. Daisy: “Lance is so smart.  And soon... he’ll be able to shoot people.”

We know that Daisy is supposed to be the token annoying squint, but her lines this week were just hilarious, and her chemistry (and comic timing) with both Hodgins and Booth really shined this time around. In fact, a close runner-up for this list comes from Daisy’s jaunt with Booth through the toy factory: “You don’t have to direct anything toward me. I’m not allowed to speak.”

2. Booth (David Boreanaz): “I can’t do that; I’m with the FBI. What we do is disclose.”

Now, Daisy’s half of this week’s Daisy-Booth duo might not have made the list today (she’s well-represented enough, though, right?), but Booth’s sure did. When Bianca (Morgan Fairchild) demands that the two investigators sign a nondisclosure agreement, this is how Booth responds. Classic Booth: polite but forceful, and with a peppering of wit that just can’t be beat.

3. Hodgins (TJ Thyne): “To make seat with secure, to fasten red pin B to happy.” Angela: “There is nothing happy.”

As we gushed in the recap, Angela has never been better at pulling the laughs out of a scene. Indeed, while this is the highlight of the “Angela versus baby-walker” subplot, she truly had us in stitches pretty much the whole time she was grappling with the hell-spawned toy. She delivered even in the final moments of the episode — when inviting Brennan to the toy store with her and baby, she said, “You can hold Michael... while I yell at people.” Behold: the ne plus ultra of comic pauses.

That’s a wrap for today!  Got any choice words you’d like to add?
