We love Bones with every fiber of our being (clavicle and maxilla included), but do you ever scratch your head in confusion as Brennan (Emily Deschanel) rattles off a bunch of big words at her fellow geeks? Join the club. Lucky for you, we rounded up terminology from Season 7 Finale, Episode 13, “The Past In The Present” so you can improve your squintern skills!

GPS: That thing you bought your middle aged dad for his birthday and he still doesn't know how to use.

Auricular Surface: Another term for the articulated surface of the ilium, or pelvis. [Insert Booth (David Boreanaz) crotch joke here.]

Piophilidae: A type of maggot or fly that lives in cheese. Great, now we'll never be able to look at Stilton the same way again.

Trochlea: Part of the victim's humorous, or funny bone. LOL! (Get it? Lol? We went there.)

Premolar: The teeth between your canines and molars. In other words, the ones that don't become fangs if you turn into a vampire. We find everything makes more sense with vampire examples.

Demon Baby: According to Brennan's crazy friend, this has a one word definition: Christine.

Mosquito Forceps: Small forceps used in surgery to hold delicate tissue among other things.
"Other things" being the key term on Bones.

Tubocurarine: A skeletal muscle relaxant found in the victim's body, which made a pack of wolves think he was dead. The compound is derived from the South American plant chondrodendron tomentosum, which Brennan had been working with just weeks before the murder. That Pellant really is an evil genius!
