Looks like creators and cast of Bones have hit an attention-grabbing gold mine in talking about the upcoming Season 7 finale — the more they talk about it, the more we want — which makes them talk about it more! Hey, we’re not complaining...

Today, Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan decided to up the ante on the already considerably sweat-inducing season-ender. First, though, he speaks briefly of how motherhood is going to affect Brennan (Emily Deschanel): “She is now a big, open bruise because of another human being, and she will find that very disorientating,” Nathan said.

It looks like motherhood really is going to bring out Brennan’s "softer” side! When she encounters a child victim in an upcoming episode, Brennan turns to Booth and somewhat confusedly says, “I find I have a great need to go see [our daughter] Christine, and it makes no rational sense.” If that’s not unique Brennan adorableness, then we don’t know what is.

But all the heartwarming goo in the world will not cover up all the more ominous things Nathan and Bones creator Hart Hanson have said about the remainder of Season 7 — and it all centers on the terrifying supervillain Christopher Pellant (Andrew Leeds).

Says Hanson, “Pellant’s going to scare the crap out of people in the season finale.”

Now, considering this guy has somehow figured out how to murder people while still cooped up under house arrest, you can consider us plenty scared already! Nathan elaborates that Pellant “will turn the series on its head for a little bit …He has much more power than any of our serial bad guys have had in the past.”

Ugh.  Someone important’s going to die. We just know it.
