A lot can happen in three months without Bones! Brennan’s (Emily Deschanel) a blond. Little Christine is talking. (Do the Ivy Leagues ever admit babies? Because we think she might have a shot.) Hodgins (TJ Thyne) is sorta crazy. And Pelant (Andrew Leeds) — we just learned that he’s not exactly working alone.
So much went down on tonight’s Bones Season 8 premiere, “The Future in the Past,” that we still haven’t been able to soak it all in quote yet. But we will say this: Booth (David Boreanaz). Brennan. Seedy motel. Reunion. (Anyone else still feeling a bit hot and bothered over that one?)
Booth and Brennan are back together. Brennan’s job is still (somewhat) back to normal. And Christine is still the most amazing baby on the face of the planet.
It was a crazy ride, but Brennan has now returned from her life on the run and is ready to keep solving cases with the FBI and the rest of her pals at the Jeffersonian. She and Booth are back together and happy — but we also know that there are stormy waters ahead.
What did you think of Bones’ very first episode of Season 8? Did it live up to all your expectations — or were there some parts of the episode that just didn’t quite turn out the way you’d hoped? Head below and sound off.
