Two Bones tidbits might help you survive this week as we wait for our favorite procedural’s triumphant post-maternity return in March.

First, we can expect lots more goofiness between Hodgins (TJ Thyne) and new squintern Finn (Luke Kleintank). As Thyne puts it, “[a]fter that whole thing with the snake [in the competitive eater episode], I think they bonded[.]” Indeed, Finn may well turn out to be the Zack Addy (Eric Millegan) replacement we’ve so waited for (or, in some cases, passionately resisted!). If Hodgins has anything to say about it, Finn will set the “camaraderie” in the Jeffersonian back into balance.

Meanwhile, there’s always some form of Booth (David Boreanaz)-Brennan (Emily Deschanel) relationship intrigue going on. In today’s installment, we get a little more information about Booth’s long-awaited son Parker (Ty Panitz): namely, how the tyke is going to react to the news of his upcoming little sister. And it’s not all roses and rainbows — turns out that come episode 10, Parker “begins to act out to the tune of lying and possibly stealing.”

Well, the introduction of a new sibling can cause some... complicated emotions in kids. So we’ll try to give Parker a break on this one, at least for the time being. And after all, if there’s anyone who can straighten wayward Parker out, it’s Seeley Booth!
