Now that we have a definite return date for Bones on our plates, we’re afraid that the new addition has only whetted our appetite for further spoilers! Thank goodness, then, that Hart Hanson took to Twitter last night to deliver the news of yet another guest appearance.
“Sssh!” Hanson cautions. “What’s that? Is that the sound of @stephenfry in the Colonies? Can you feel it?” Stephen Fry, of course, plays Gordon Gordon Wyatt, the erudite psychologist who helped Booth (David Boreanaz) through the latter’s clown-shooting phase. And even if Hanson hails from Canada, we’re pretty sure he’s not referring to British Columbia when he says “Colonies.”
So is Gordon Gordon making a triumphant return to Bones? The jury’s out, but Hanson’s Twitter commentators are champing at the bit to speculate in the affirmative. In the meantime, fortunately for us, there is also a more definite guest star afoot — Emily Deschanel (Temperance Brennan) tweeted that she’s happily working with her “fake dad,” also known as Ryan O’Neal (Brennan’s father Max) on the latest Bones episode to manifest before the cameras.
So yes, granted, Bones still has a ways to go before we teeming masses get to see it. But at least we know they’re working hard, so we’ll have an overflow of compensation come March!
