Bones is a wonderful show full of hunky FBI agents and nerds who think they're hunky FBI agents (looking at you, Sweets), but sometimes we find ourselves reaching for the nearest plastic bag in a fit of nausea. Let's just say executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan aren't afraid to "go there" when it comes to rotting human remains.

Season 8, Episode 3: “The Gunk in the Garage” took Bones' love for gore to a whole new level, and Stephen Nathan thinks it could be the grossest episode yet! "We blow up a guy and it's pretty cool," he tells Zap2it. "Very revolting."

Looks like Stephen is alone on this one, because the rest of the Bones team have their own personal favorites! Emily Deschanel (Temperance Brennan) describes the flattened body in "Cinderella in the Cardboard," as "pretty gross," while Michaela Conlin (Angela) gets her gross-out kicks from the body farm in "The Feet on the Beach."

"It's rare for me to actually make an audible sound when I'm watching the show because we shoot all day and see it, so then for me to do that –– for that one, when that stomach erupted, it was nauseating," Michaela says.

So, what about Bones super-boss, Hart Hanson? He says the snake-filled corpse in "The Hot Dog in the Competition" caused him to run away in fear!

Join the club, buddy.
