San Diego Comic Con 2011 is right over the horizon, and Hart Hanson’s ready! The Bones creator/executive producer sat down with the The Hollywood Reporter yesterday to answer a few questions about the convention, where he’ll be joining Emily Deschanel (Brennan ), David Boreanaz (Booth), and co-honcho Stephen Nathan next week. Fortunately for us, Hanson was willing to answer questions about Season 7 of our favorite procedural while he was at it!
Unfortunately for us, Hanson had more questions than answers. Like, in reference to how Emily’s pregnancy will affect her storyline, he said, “[T]hese two disparate people are going to have to figure out the environment in which that child will be raised. What is their relationship? Are they going [to] live together? How involved will Booth be in the raising of the baby?” Come on, Hart — we’ve been pondering the same things for weeks now.
What he is more sure about is how to get a Comic-Con audience full of Bones fans riled up. “[T]he biggest response I ever got is when I made a veiled reference to David’s genitalia. All I said was, ‘You should see what’s going on behind this table.’ It was rather innocent. And the joy… (Laughs)”
Yup! Sounds about right.
