During April 2's Bones Season 7, Episode 7, “The Prisoner in the Pipe,” Temperance Brennan finally gave birth — but is actress Emily Deschanel pregnant in real life?

The answer: No, not currently. But she definitely was back when those episodes were being filmed! 

Emily gave birth to her first child, a little boy named Henry, just two months ago: on September 21, 2011. The catch? By the time that she and her husband, actor-writer David Hornsby of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world, the first couple episodes of Bones Season 7 were already filmed and waiting to air. So that baby bump you've been seeing Brennan sport on the show? Totally real.

In fact, Bones' shorter (and Finder-interrupted) season was designed to give the new mama a bit of maternity leave. Congrat to Emily and David on the birth of their baby boy!
