Is Emily Deschanel Too Pregnant to Do Extra Bones Episodes This Season?

After lamenting the short Season 7, E! Online’s Kristin Dos Santos trots out the tantalizing suggestion that there might perhaps be conceivably more than thirteen episodes...maybe.

And so, with fans’ breath duly bated, Dos Santos goes on...to shoot down all our hopes. Zooey Deschanel — a reputable source if ever we saw one! — insists that sister Emily (Temperance Brennan) is “exhausted” by her all-but-finished pregnancy. “She’s real pregnant now,” Zooey says. “She gets tired a lot. I could imagine that's hard doing a show. But she's a really hardworking person."

Translation: Back off and thank your lucky stars you’re even getting 13 episodes.
