The New Year is fast approaching, which means the time for making New Year’s resolutions has come! So while we make plans to hit the gym and work off all those holiday goodies, we’ve also taken a moment to compile a list of our hopes and dreams for our favorite TV show.
Take a look at our top resolutions for Bones in 2012:
5. The growth of a happy and healthy baby girl.
4. Even more of the chemistry we know and love.
When Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan finally coupled up this season, many fans feared the two would somehow lose their signature spark. What would Booth and Brennan be without the fighting and witty banter? Luckily for us, Hart Hanson and Co. have found a way to perfectly mix the wit and all the mushy stuff. Bones has nailed the new relationship so far, we hope they keep it up in the new year!
3. Bring in some more amazing guest stars.
With Bones on hiatus for a while, we’ve definitely been dusting off our old Angel DVDs. And you know what we would love to see? Some of David’s old Buffy or Angel co-stars pop in for a cameo role! Angel vets Julie Benz and Charisma Carpener have both said they’d totally be down. Plus, can you imagine if Sarah Michelle Gellar herself stopped by?
And the cameos don’t have to end there. Bones could always throw a Glee star into the mix … or we’d be content just to see the return of some old familiar friends like Brennan’s dad, Max (Ryan O’Neal).
2. Make every episode count.
With fewer episodes this season, Bones has no room for mediocrity in the rest of Season 7. We want to see all the stops pulled out: more action, more laughs, more awesome guest stars, more adorable baby moments — maybe even a proposal?
1. Put a ring on it, already!
That’s right. Booth’s already joked with Brennan about the possibility of their engagement. We want less talk and more action! Booth, Brennan, and baby will already make an adorable little family. Adding a wedding would simply be icing on the cake. Ultimately, though, our vote is with Booth on this one: Brennan should be the one to propose! Now that’s something we can’t wait to see.
