Ever wonder what it would be like to see your face on a plaque with a date of death on it? No? Well if you ever do, former Bones guest star Ryan Cartwright got the chance to have that only-in-Hollywood moment.

The man behind the beloved squintern who met his maker in an emotional Season 6 episode took a pic with his character’s memorial plaque (taken by Bones creator Hart Hanson).

We don’t know about you but we’re not sure Ryan should be smiling like he’s taking a photo with Mickey at Disneyland. Then again, it isn’t like being killed off of the show has been the worst thing for Cartwright’s career. Immediately after Bones he stared in a SyFy show called Alphas. But what is he doing back on the Bones set? Will he be making an appearance as a ghost on an upcoming episode? Seeing as his death is the reason Booth and Brennan finally got together, maybe... thanks are in order?

That could probably be an awkward conversation (Hey, thanks for taking a bullet, champ!) but... we wouldn’t mind a final memory of VNM that doesn’t involve him taking a final breath. (So if he has to go all Casper on us, so be it!)
