At last — Bones gets personal! While investigating the death of a brilliant and career-driven surgeon in Bones Season 6, Episode 9, "The Doctor in the Photo," Brennan ends up training her laser focus on her own lonely life.

The doctor's body shows up in a bad neighborhood, and the Jeffersonian team must work to figure out why and how she ended up there with multiple fractures in her skull. As Brennan digs into the details of the woman's life, she begins to unearth more than a couple eye-opening parallels between herself and the dead doc. Just like Brennan, the lady devoted her life to her work, but at what cost?

Brennan comes to see that although she may be a wealthy and successful forensic anthropologist, she's also very much alone. This begs an obvious question: Will she finally realize that she made a mistake in poo-pooing Booth's feelings for her? While she carefully analyzed her partner's confession of love, Booth moved on with the gorgeous and intelligent Hannah. (Hannah is maddening, BTW, because she makes Booth happy — darn her! — and she's very hard to hate.) So, will Brennan tell Booth she has feelings for him, or will she try to find fulfillment elsewhere? Enrico Colantoni guest stars as Jeffersonian security guard Micah Leggat, and he and Brennan strike up a friendship. No matter where her epiphany takes her, we can’t wait to see Bones finally evaluate her choices in life and love.
