Jack Nicholson was right: We can’t handle the truth! Especially if the “truth” is that absolutely nothing happened between Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) in last week’s penultimate Season 6 episode, “The Hole in the Heart.” Or that Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins’ (TJ Thyne) baby will be born blind.

Of course, all will (hopefully!) be revealed and resolved in a few hours, if we’re to believe executive producer Stephen Nathan. In the meantime, enjoy three new promos for tonight’s “The Change in the Game.”

First, Angela’s baby is two days overdue, and she’s miserable. She tells Hodgins she is confident “any day now the Guinness people are going to come and measure me,” resorting to extreme(ly hot) measures to induce labor.

Speaking of the belated birth, it seems Angela’s misery is causing Brennan, of all people, to have sympathy pains. But it also results in a super sweet bonding moment between the two lab buddies. Awww...

On a positive note, at least Angela doesn’t have to see the disgusting skinless body that Booth and Brennan find in a bowling alley’s pinsetter machine. “Can you say blech of a strike?” asks Booth. Blech indeed.
