Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) are meant to be. You know it. We know it. Hell, even they know it. But in six seasons of Bones, they haven’t yet made it past “just partners,” despite the palpable sexual tension. Eventually, they’re going to need to satisfy fans — and themselves.
According to TVLine, the long-awaited Booth and Brennan hookup could happen in the season finale, which promises to be a game-changer — literally.
Michael Ausiello revealed that Episode 23 will be called “The Change in the Game,” and executive producer Stephen Nathan confirmed, “Although the ‘game’ in the episode is bowling, that’s not the only game that will be changed.” Talk about a tease!
Bones creator Hart Hanson said that not everyone on staff is hoping for Booth and Brennan to become a lovey-dovey twosome. “What happens [as we wrap] between Booth and Brennan is the subject of a spirited and wide-ranging debate — and that’s the honest-to-God truth. Some people think [we should go for it], and others are wildly against it. It’s a really interesting debate.” No matter what side of the fence you’re on, we’re going to see the outcome soon enough.
Can we skip past the six new episodes and get to it already? If B&B make it official in the May 19 finale, we’re gonna squee. We have no shame.
