There are certainly pros to a life of crime — good money, dangerous living, exotic locales — but after watching a counterfeiter get eaten by a bunch of rats in Bones’ latest episode, we’re feeling pretty good about our desk job. We just wish that was the only nasty scene we had to witness in Season 6, Episode 15. Read on for the three grossest moments from Thursday’s continuation of the sniper arc — and try to not be sick.
3. Even “I Heart Mom” would’ve been better
Don’t get us wrong; we love our family, but that doesn’t mean we would want their image tattooed on our body for eternity. We pity Hodgins (TJ Thyne) when he sees the image of his bearded, intimidating father-in-law tattooed on his shoulder. Billy Gibbons is cool and all, but can you imagine what that tat’s going to look like in, say, 25 years? Ick.
2. Bambi, is that you?
When Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) arrive at the cabin where the sniper has been staying, we know they’re going to find something. We just aren’t prepared for something quite so stomach churning. While investigating a makeshift structure in the middle of the field, Booth and Brennan stumble across a deer head getting picked at by a bunch of birds. That’s not even the worst part: The deer’s skull has been blown to smithereens. Venison burgers, anyone?
1. Oh, rats!
Shortly after the victim takes a shot to the spine, the color drains out of his face. It doesn’t take long for the color to return — thanks to a team of rats who eat him for lunch and leave nothing but blood and bones. Mmmm…
