With Angela (Michaela Conlin) a new mom and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) about to pop, It seems almost every Jeffersonian Institute worker has babies on the brain, but rest assured Dr. Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) isn’t one of them.
“There’s lots of crazy baby action [this season], but she doesn’t want the babies in the lab,” Tamara told Wetpaint Entertainment at the FOX All Star Party. “Here’s the thing, she loves those kids. It’s typical Cam. It’s a love/hate thing.”
She may have to soften her stance on the baby policy, as a new one is about to join the gang any minute now. “Literally, [Brennan]’s giving birth in the episode we’re shooting,” Tamara reveals, but admits that the relationship between Booth and Brennan remains the same.
“You know, the way they’re handling it is so interesting because they’re together, but they’re not really still,” says Tamara. “There’s nothing particularly romantic about it, though the love is deep in there. They still can’t agree on what color the sky is. And now they’re parenting which is a whole interesting thing to try and watch them do together.”
Not that Cam is the person to dole out relationship advice. This season she’ll face her own challenges as new intern Finn Abernathy (Luke Kleintank), who we’ve determined has a questionable past, returns to date her adoptive daughter Michelle (Tiffany Hines).
“Cam is having a little bit of a conniption,” says Tamara. “I think she thinks she’s more okay with it than she really is.”
