What should Booth and Brennan name their daughter?
We reported last week that an upcoming episode of Bones will center on some astute producer deciding to make a movie based on one of Brennan (Emily Deschanel)’s books. And as intriguing as the plot of said fake film might be, we’re much more interested in the casting. So considering that Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz (Booth) are busy playing... well, their own characters, who on Bones is going to play the actors who will play Booth and Brennan?
...Give us a second. We need to catch our breath.
Unfortunately, this week’s mini-news does not contain any real-people names for the fake-people parts in the faux Bones movie. What we do have, however, is some insight into these actors-within-actors’ personalities.
The Booth actor, for his part, is an “action star” (not surprising!) with “a criminal history of drug use and assault”... not exactly the spitting image of Booth, huh? Expect lots of consternation from Booth (complete with his trademark “WTF” face) on that front. And as for Brennan, all we get is that “she’s kind of a slut.” Cue the real Brennan expatiating on the anthropological virtues of female promiscuity.
While we wait for the far-off Bones return date, we’re just going to cross our fingers that this whole “Bones movie” idea catches on in the real world. Don’t hate... we know you’re doing it, too.
