Date of birth: June 9, 1978
Hometown: Allentown, Pennsylvania
Currently resides in: Los Angeles, California

Bet you didn't know… Michaela was nominated for a 2008 Asian Excellence Award in the category of Supporting Television Actress for her work on Bones. (She is half Chinese American and half Irish American.)
Born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Michaela Conlin grew up watching fellow Bones actor David Boreanaz's dad do the local weather on TV. Her Chinese American mother, Denise, works for an arts and culture magazine, and her father Fran, who is of Irish descent, sells plumbing supplies. Michaela also has an older sister.
Acting since the age of 6, when she landed a role in The King and I, Michaela went on to study theater in college. Not only did she graduate from NYU's Tisch School, she also attended the Experimental Theatre Wing's International Training Program in Amsterdam. After finishing school, Michaela moved out to Los Angeles with her boyfriend, whom she is still dating.
Michaela's obvious talent scored her a spot on Bravo's reality program The It Factor, a part in Enchanted, and of course, the role of feisty Angela Montenegro on Bones. Michaela admires Angela's ability to be outspoken and admits she's much more conservative than her kooky counterpart.
