A charming, handsome, honest-to-goodness badass. That's Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former army sniper who now tries to atone for the lives he took by finding murderers. His partner in crime-solving is Dr. Temperance Brennan, a brilliant, socially awkward forensic anthropologist with the Jeffersonian Institute. Booth affectionately calls Brennan "Bones," a nickname she used to protest but now embraces. Since day one, his partnership with Brennan has been thisclose to growing into something more, but it never quite does. Will he and Bones ever make it official, or were his feelings of love just a figment of his brain tumor? No matter what, he will always have trouble relating to Bones and her fellow "squints" in the lab.
Despite his tough exterior, Booth is a total romantic softie on the inside. But he loves his son, Parker, above and beyond any beautiful woman he has dated. (Yes, he is a descendant of John Wilkes Booth... and he's embarrassed about it.)
