Brandi's first book, Drinking & Tweeting, came out last year, and it was so successful that the publishing house quickly commissioned Brandi to write the follow-up, Drinking & Dating, which arrives in stores in February 2014.
The new book is said to be a do's and don'ts guide to dating, with Brandi calling on her ample experience in the field. But apparently, the book refers to one particular guy in a positive light, and Brandi no longer thinks highly of him.
Brandi took to Twitter on October 27 to plead with her publisher to let her change the book before it comes out.
"Dear HarperCollins, I know I've turned in my book already, but I really need to change one chapter," she tweets. "My hero turned into a zero. I will pay for [a] reprint."
Wow! It sounds like Brandi is really angry at this guy. We're assuming that she's joking about paying to have her book reprinted, but we clearly get her sentiment.
"I'm so hurt right now — I'm a twitter quitter for the rest of the night #maybe," she continues.
And while she is clearly dismayed that this guy is not the man she thought he was, she has managed to find a silver lining, as she tends to do. "I'm BEYOND disgusted & disappointed in a man who claimed to love me right now," she adds. "Well, at least I have a chapter in my next book!"
So which guy might this be? Certainly, she and ex Jonathan Ruiz have had their ups and downs over the past year, so we're wondering if he's the aforementioned "zero."
Long story short: We can't wait for her book to come out so we can find out this guy's identity!
