“Brandi’s agent saw one of the producers of LeAnn and Eddie’s show at an event recently and approached him about Brandi being on the show," a source claims. "Of course, it’s not what LeAnn or Eddie want to do at all, so they never responded to her formal approach."
"Not content, the agent contacted VH1 a few days ago asking for $25,000 a show without ever being solicited for it," adds the source. Frankly, we're not sure if we can imagine Brandi wanting to be on this show, but you never know.
And in classic Brandi fashion, she has not wasted any time in clearing the air — and using some colorful language to do so. On September 1, she tweeted:
I'm not lying about anything I've said on twitter. All true but I have a book to finish and boys to bath etc.#fuckhaters
Original story: Here's one for the "we never thought it would ever, ever happen" column. And just when we thought things between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes couldn't get any weirder. Radar Online is reporting that Brandi has been asked by LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian to appear on their upcoming VH1 scripted reality show. And Brandi herself has basically confirmed the reports.
LeAnn and Eddie are developing a reality-type show for VH1 that will be loosely based around their real lives and will air later this year or in early 2014. However, Brandi and Eddie's kids will not appear on the show, as Brandi reportedly wouldn't grant permission for them to appear.
Now, LeAnn and Eddie apparently have made an even more brazen request by asking Brandi herself — who was married to Eddie before he started seeing and eventually married LeAnn — to grace their show with her appearance. Talk about a ballsy move on LeAnn and Eddie's part!
Here's what Brandi had to say on the matter:
I am laughing sooooooo hard at the offer that just came into my agent @alecshankman for me!NOT GONNA DO IT!!!! OMG OMG
We're still in shock that LeAnn and Eddie would ask Brandi that! And we love that Brandi says in no uncertain terms that she will not appear on their show. Did they actually think she would say yes? Then again, things seemed to have been a little less frosty between Brandi and LeAnn lately, with Brandi wishing LeAnn a happy birthday on Twitter earlier this week. So maybe LeAnn thought Brandi would say yes?
We also love that — when Brandi first tweeted that she been offered a surprising part on a show — one of her Twitter followers jokingly asked if the show was Malibu Country. If you've been watching Real Housewives of Orange County this season, you know why that tweet was so hilarious. And Brandi herself said that she loved that guess.
For her part, LeAnn seems to be denying that she and Eddie tried to get Brandi on the show. When a Twitter follower told LeAnn that Brandi's agent had been contacted about Brandi appearing on the show, LeAnn responded:
Okay, so now we don't know what to think. We're not sure why Brandi would completely make up this offer out of thin air, but we suppose we'll have to reserve judgment until we get more info. In the meantime, it's safe to assume Brandi and LeAnn won't be teaming up on a TV show anytime soon.
