Here it is: Our first look at Brandi Glanville's acting debut! And yes, it's just as mind-blowingly amazing as we hoped it would be.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has a small role in the upcoming Lifetime movie, Missing at 17, which airs this Saturday, October 19th, at 8 p.m. But you don't have to wait until then, since you can see Brandi in action in this ET Online clip. Go, Brandi!
Based on a true story, the movie is about Shannon, whose adopted 17-year-old daughter runs away from home to find her biological mom. Once Shannon realizes her daughter might be in harm's way, she has to track her down. Then again, who isn't potentially in harm's way in a Lifetime movie?
Brandi plays Erica, a friend of Shannon's who works on the movie set where Shannon is a makeup artist. In the clip above, Brandi's character is somehow under the impression that doing actors' makeup is more important than finding your missing teenage daughter. Ah, Lifetime movies.
"Can you please just come in for a couple hours?" Brandi says as Erica. "I have two actors who I need to get into [the other makeup artist's] chair, and she just can't do it all herself. If you don't come, we won't make our day." Will the makeup get done in time? The suspense is killing us!!!
Shannon then offers this hilarious explanation for why she has to take a sick day: "My ex-husband's on his way to the house, and I need to find my daughter." Find your daughter, do someone's makeup — they're both crucial.
"Listen, I went out on a limb to get you in with these guys in the first place," Erica offers as a last-ditch plea. "Okay, I guess I'll just find somebody else last minute, thanks." And nobody does sarcasm better than Brandi.
Granted, the scene is a little silly, but we're actually pretty impressed by Brandi's performance here. We really believed that she needed a makeup artist, stat. And now we can't wait to see the entire movie this weekend, in all its crazy glory!
