Brandi Glanville loves making controversial remarks, but her latest ones on the previous episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have cost her a job.
Brandi had been set to appear at a party on December 14 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida, but the casino announced earlier in the day that it has dropped Brandi from the gig because of comments she made in regards to race on RHoBH, according to Radar Online.
"As a company who prides itself on its core values of 'Love All, Serve All,' [the casino] has decided to proceed with the planned party without Ms. Glanville’s appearance due to recent developments that include remarks towards African Americans made by Ms. Glanville on her hit Bravo TV show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," says the casino's president.
"Until this situation is behind her, our organization feels it’s best to reinforce our culture and values at this time, which consist of love and respect for all," the casino president continues.
Brandi has yet to address having been fired on Twitter, although she did confirm this morning that she had already flown to Florida before she got the boot. "I had a great time in Florida, but sadly I didn't make out with anyone — although I am single and I could have — or get drunk," Brandi tweets on December 15.
As you probably know, the controversy started when Brandi told Joyce Giraud on RHoBH that she didn't want to swim in the pool because she's "black." Brandi went on to say that her black friends wouldn't want to get their weaves wet. Brandi apologized this week on her Bravo blog.
Do you agree that Brandi deserves to have lost the casino gig?
