Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville stirred up a ton of controversy this week when she joked on her podcast about wishing she had been molested as a child. Now, she is apologizing for her remarks.
While interviewing two comedians on her podcast on January 14, Brandi said she "wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up." She added, "My sister got felt up by a principal, and nothing for me. He didn't even look at me sideways."
After many people were upset about Brandi's attempt at a joke, she has taken to Twitter to apologize. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone with @Mrjimflorentine @PodcastOne interview," Brandi writes on January 16. "My show is a COMEDY-based entertainment show for adults — I'm sorry."
When one Twitter follower tells her that molestation shouldn't be joked about, Brandi replies, "Agreed and I'm sorry. I'm still learning how to interview stand-up comedians. I would kill anyone that touched my kids."
"I've been thrown into an interviewing job, and I have zero idea what I'm doing, so please forgive me as I figure out how to interview stand-up comics!" she adds.
