Brandy isn't getting married quite as soon as she had thought she would. So is there trouble in paradise?
The 34-year-old music star and actress has revealed that she and fiance Ryan Press are no longer planning to get married in 2013, according to Singers Room.
"I think I’m going to get married next year," Brandy reveals to the Tom Joyner Morning Show. "I didn’t realize how hard it was to plan a wedding. Even with a planner it’s hard." Hear that.
Phew! So it sounds like the delay has nothing to do with cold feet, and it appears to just be a result of the logistics involved in planning a high-profile wedding. Don't worry, you two — there's no rush!
Ryan proposed to Brandy in late 2012, and this will be her first marriage. She has an eleven-year-old daughter, Sy'rai Iman Smith, from a previous relationship. She was also previously engaged to basketball star Quentin Richardson, but the two parted ways in 2005 after a 15-month engagement.
Brandy is best known for her hit '90s tunes, including the smash 1998 single "The Boy Is Mine." She also starred on the sitcom Moesha and recently appeared on Drop Dead Diva. She has dabbled in reality TV as well, finishing fourth on Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars and co-starring on VH1's Brandy & Ray-J: A Family Business.
We're wishing all the best to the happy couple! We have a feeling 2014 will be their year.
