Dancing With The Stars

Brant Daugherty Eliminated on Dancing With the Stars Season 17 in Week 8

And another one bites the dust on Dancing With the Stars. In Week 8 of the competition, Pretty Little Liars star Brant Daugherty took a bow and hung up his dancing shows one final time.

Unfortunately, Brant and his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd were sent home after they failed to rack up enough viewer votes to stay in the competition. While the hunky TV star was good, he often fell in the middle of the pack — and he failed to stand out amongst his charismatic competitors.

During Week 8, Brant and Peta danced the Foxtrot, and judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli both commented that although his charm was on full display, he got behind the music and lost his footwork. (For what it's worth, guest judge Cher loved it.) Then, in the dance-off challenge, Brant and Peta lost to underdogs Leah and Tony when their Rumba failed to ignite.

Although we're sad to see Brant go — we really thought he was going to make it to the end! — at least he'll always have a home in Rosewood.

What did you think of the elimination? Do you think the right couple went home? Sound off in the comments!
