Braxton Family Values: Tamar and Towanda Are at Odds Again (VIDEO)
Is it August 14 already? Because we’re totally ready for the Season 4 premiere of Braxton Family Values. This time around, it looks like it’s double the drama for sisters Toni, Trina, Towanda, Traci, and Tamar Braxton as they deal with Tamar’s new celebrity and lingering family struggles.
WE TV has released several clips from what’s sure to be an explosive premiere, with one sneak peek revealing an argument between feuding sisters Tamar and Towanda. It appears that things haven’t change between Season 3B’s finale and the taping of Season 4; the sisters have a very chilly exchange where Towanda speaks to Tamar in a rigid tone and Tay-Tay fires back that she’s not scared of her older sis.
“You felt guilty because of you know how you’ve been acting,” Tamar starts, before being interrupted by Towanda. When Tamar regroups herself, she continues, “you decided you wanted to say something, like you couldn’t let him say something nice about me.”
While we’re not sure what Tamar and Towanda are referring to, Towanda continues on with the conversation.
“Do you think you’ve been the same exact person,” Towanda asks her sister. When Tamar doesn’t give the answer Towanda was hoping for, Towanda repeats the question and this time, Tamar gets feisty in her response.
“I’ve been the same ol’ Tay. Towanda you’re not my authority, nor am I afraid of you, so don’t talk to me like that,” she says to her sis. Though mom Evelyn jumps in to say the girls always act like this when they meet up for family dinners, it appears that this conversation between Towanda and Tamar is just the calm before the storm. In the extended trailer, we see Towanda blows up at this same dinner, screaming that nobody cares about her and breaking glasses and dinnerware in the process.
Will the bickering sisters ever be able to get over their issues? Guess we’ll have to tune in to find out.
Braxton Family Values Season 4 premieres Thursday, August 14 at 9 p.m. on WE TV.
