Skyler White is one of the most controversial Breaking Bad characters. Some fans would have celebrate her death in the finale; others wanted to see her come out on top once all was said and done. Who got their wish on the finale (Season 5, Episode 16: "Felina")?

Warning: This article contains major spoilers for the Breaking Bad series finale.

Sorry, Skyler haters: Walter's wife lived!

In fact, Skyler really only had one scene in the finale, but it was a doozy. Walter, who was on his final goodbye/murder spree, snuck into her new (super depressing) house to say goodbye.

At first, she wasn't pleased to see him. She didn't trust that he hadn't hurt people to get to her, she still didn't want his money, and she didn't understand why he was there. But he explained that everything was almost over, and he just wanted to say goodbye.

He told her that he "did it all..." She interrupted him, making it clear that if he tried to claim it was for the family one last time she would snap. But he didn't. Instead, he fessed up that he did it for himself, because he liked the power and thrill. She seemed to realize he was telling the truth, and they made some sort of peace; she even let him say goodbye to Holly.
