Are Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus making beautiful music together again?
The former Disney star and the most heavily face-tattooed member of the Cyrus clan were spotted together in California, raising suspicions that they were an item once again.
Brenda, 25, and Trace, 24, got engaged in 2011 and split a year ago. Trace, former lead singer of Metro Station, who currently performs under the stage name Ashland High, announced the breakup via a statement to the press. "Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways," he wrote. "We will continue to focus on our careers… I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation."
According to People, Brenda, who has had recent guest appearances on Scandal and New Girl, tweeted a number of cryptic messages prior to being spotted out with her ex, including, "Don't give up on someone you can't go a full day without thinking about," and "Sometimes good things fall apart, so that better things can fall together."
Trace got equally Twitter-weird, writing, "She said some days I feel like s**t. Some days I wanna quit and just be normal for a bit," a lyric from band Fort Minor.
Whether or not the pair are back on, at least they're taking the mature steps to rebuilding a relationship, which always start with getting all emo online.
