Bachelorette 2014’s Brian Osborne Reacts to His Elimination: “I Have No Regrets”

The toughest eliminations on The Bachelor/ette are usually when we get down to the final four, but in Andi Dorfman’s tenth season, the two cuts right before Hometown Dates hit us pretty hard. Why? Because they took the refreshingly real — though still totally hot — Dylan Petitt and Brian Osborne away from us. Why’d you have to go and do that, Andi?

To be fair, we sort of saw it coming in the Brussels-set Episode 7 as both the floppy-haired MassBro and kiss-shy basketball coach had comparatively limited time with the Dorf. Things seemed to be moving right along with Andi and Josh Murray, thanks to his L-bomb, and Nick Viall was wooing her with surprise hotel visits. Heck, even normally timid farmer Chris Soules stole a smooch from the Bachelorette during the cocktail party. Brian should’ve taken note!

We kid, BriBri. The be-dimpled cutie did put in his best effort on the monastery-set group date, telling her he was falling in love, but at the end of the day, it just wasn’t going to happen. So how is Brian feeling about his Week 7 exit a few months later?

“It’s been real and it’s been fun, but it hasn’t been real fun. Thanks everyone for the love. Awesome experience and I have no regrets,” Brian wrote on Twitter on June 30 during his on-screen elimination. Good attitude! Something tells us that this PA cutie isn’t losing any sleep over being sent home. Plus, judging by his social media accounts, he gained a gaggle of new bros in the process!

Meanwhile, Andi herself weighed in on her choice to send Brian and Dylan packing right before Hometown Dates, explaining she just didn’t see a future with the two handsome fellas.

“I said goodbye to Dylan and Brian that night because I just didn't see futures with them,” Andi admits. “It really is an embarrassment of riches because both Dylan and Brian are stand-up guys who showed me nothing but the utmost respect and willingness to be open throughout all of this. It's something that I will always appreciate from both of them.”
