If you want a piece of Britney Spears, all you need is $59 and a ticket to Sin City. The Princess of Pop just announced her two-year Vegas residency this morning (September 17) on Good Morning America, revealing that tickets go on sale this Friday, September 20 at 10 a.m. PT. And according to the “Ooh La La” singer herself, this is a show you won't want to miss. Britney, Piece of Me will be a hybrid of her hit songs, old and new alike, in a fun and exciting club-like atmosphere.

“We wanted the environment to be that way so people could come and have a good time and stand up and feel like they’re in the show with me,” Brit dished. “I love Vegas. The energy here is really, really good.”

In typical Britney fashion, the 31-year-old performer made the announcement in the most extravagantly fabulous way — flying in on a helicopter, only to be welcomed by 1,000 screaming fans. Britney was also greeted by a massive photo of herself engulfing the Las Vegas desert floor.

But this wasn't the only big announcement from the former X Factor judge — Brit also revealed that her new album (currently untitled) will drop on December 3, the day after her 32nd birthday. Her new single, "Work B**ch," leaked online yesterday. Listen to it here.

Of course, GMA reporters couldn't resist getting a few soundbites about Britney's feelings for a certain fellow Disney good girl gone bad. Brit's take on Miley Cyrus's now-infamous VMA performance? "Anytime you do a performance that memorable, there's going to be criticism."

And that is something Britney knows from personal experience, having catapulted to pop stardom at the young age of 16, only to suffer a very public breakdown and divorce a few years later.

Nowadays, Brit's back at the top of her game and she's got the paycheck (and the body!) to prove it. Britney, Piece of Me kicks off on December 27. Will you see the pop princess in action? Tell us below.
