You wanna, you wanna watch Britney Spears’s new video? You better tune in, b---h.
Two weeks after a low quality version of Britney’s new single for “Work B---h” was leaked online (man, that just keeps happening, dun it?), Brit’s camp just announced that the video for the track will have its world premiere — on her terms!
A September 30 press release from The CW states that the network will present the world premiere on October 1 during the network’s special broadcast of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, which airs from 8-10 p.m. ET.
The video, which is directed by Ben Mor, who spoke to MTV News a few days ago after she posted a clip to her Instagram. “I was very, very excited … I’ve always wanted to work with her … She was absolutely super professional, wasted no time, showed up before anybody else.”
As far as direction, Ben says all he had to do was walk her through and have a few discussions beforehand, everyone was on “the same page,” and she and her team were total pros. “She did her thing and it was awesome to watch, she just lights up, the music kicks in, and it was awesome. It was like ‘Wow this is really happening.’”
So, basically, Godney is exactly as amazing as we have always known she is. No surprises here, but we can’t wait to see it all go down on October 1. Will you be watching?
