The drama involving Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers continues to get more bizarre. According to the latest news, Brooks has filed a lawsuit against his and Vicki's former business partner for allegedly spreading rumors that Brooks tried to have him killed. Wow!
Radar Online reports that Brooks is suing Robert Williamson III for slander and defamation, claiming that Robert publicly made false allegations about Brooks hiring an assassin to have Robert killed. According to the suit, Robert convinced Vicki to attend a secretive meeting at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas in March.
Legal documents claim that Vicki was told during the meeting by Robert that Brooks was a “dangerous guy who has threatened Plaintiff (Williamson) and his wife’s life” and that he “hired a hit man to kill plaintiff.”
Other allegations reportedly shared by Robert, his wife, and another associate at the meeting were that Brooks had impregnated the paralegal from his divorce attorney, causing her to lose her job, and that he planned to extort money from Robert.
Vicki reportedly believed the allegations at first, even sending Brooks a message soon thereafter to "lose [her] number." However, Vicki then became skeptical of the allegations, and she and Brooks got back together. They are now reportedly no longer dating.
Robert — who appeared on Housewives earlier this season — had been suing Vicki and Brooks for a slew of issues after their Vicki's Vodka project did not work out as planned. Robert recently dismissed Vicki from the suit, but Radar Online is reporting that he plans to refile his lawsuit against her, as settlement talks have fallen apart.
This comes days after a recording was made public in which Brooks threatened Vicki physically. Brooks will have a chance to explain the many, many controversies when he appears on the Reunion Part 3 next week. We can't wait.
