Brooks Ayers Threatens Vicki Gunvalson: I’ll “Beat Her Ass”

It's no secret that Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers have had their issues. But a shocking new audio tape reportedly reveals that Brooks has actually threatened to physically beat Vicki.

In a series of taped recordings obtained by Radar Online, Brooks reportedly tells another man that Vicki is a "f**king whore" and that he intends to "beat her ass." The other man on the recording is rumored to be Ryan Culberson, Vicki's son-in-law.

"Bitch, like she's never done it before," Brooks tells Ryan, although it's unclear what "it" is. "F**king whore. I'ma f**king beat her ass when I see her." Wow.

When Ryan tells Brooks that threatening to beat Vicki "ain't right," Brooks repeats the threat. "I'm gonna beat her ass," Brooks says. Ryan asks why, and Brooks tells him: "Because I can. That's what we do in the South."

At the end of the tape, Ryan asks Brooks if he's "alright" and tells him to "be careful." Radar Online is speculating that Brooks was heavily intoxicated during the conversation.

In the second taped conversation, Brooks reads a text from Vicki to Ryan. Brooks tells Ryan that Vicki is "reading me the riot act," which is an expression that Ryan says he isn't familiar with. In the text that Brooks reads, Vicki criticizes him for being "drunk again" and says she doesn't "have it in me" to fight with him.

Brooks's lawyer tells Radar Online that he is unable to comment on the recordings. His lawyer says Brooks will be speaking about the incident at next week's Reunion Part 3, and so Bravo won't allow him to address the issue before then.

Vicki and Brooks have been seeing each other since 2011, but there have been plenty of bumps along the way. Last month, Vicki announced that her relationship with him was over, although about a week after that, she said she was "extremely grateful and thankful" for Brooks. Hmmm.

Regardless of where Brooks and Vicki stand now, we find his recorded comments to be deplorable and inexcusable, and we hope he finally explains himself soon.

Update: During the Season 8 reunion, Brooks and Briana got into an argument over the recordings. Briana admitted that she had been abused as a child and it was unacceptable that her mother's boyfriend would encourage Ryan to beat her. It was revealed that Vicki has refused to listen to the recording, though Brooks said he encouraged her to do so. Tamra Barney said hearing what Briana had to say made her sick to her stomach. For her part, Vicki said Brooks has never physically harmed her. It sounded like things had ended between them, as Brooks said he would let Vicki go.
