It looks like Bruce and Kris Jenner have never heard the old adage “breaking up is hard to do,” because the recently separated pair only seem to be getting closer since announcing their split.
Kris, who went public with the couple’s decision to separate last month, has been vocal about her continued commitment to remain friends and civilly co-parent with her estranged husband, and now, Bruce is telling his side of the story.
The olympian spoke to People regarding the couple’s relationship, post-separation, calling their current dynamic “absolutely great.”
"She supports me. I see her every day. We're doing absolutely great,” Bruce tells the magazine.
What has been causing him trouble lately, however, is the increasing media scrutiny surrounding the rest of his family.
“Sometimes it's very difficult," says Bruce. "Sometimes they'll take some really, really tough shots at the family when they're not deserved and totally false, especially with my kids. I don't care what they say about me, but when they start ragging on my kids for things that they're not doing and totally misrepresenting them, that really, really bothers me to say the least."
Bruce let the paparazzi know just how much it bothered him last month, when he and normally photo-happy daughters Kendall and Kylie were spotted flipping off photographers.
Despite the difficulties that come with raising children in the public eye, his youngest daughters revealed themselves to have a positive attitude toward the attention in a recent interview.
“You just have to come back and realize all of the great things that have come out of it,” Kylie told People. “All of the good you can do with having the spotlight on you and just having your family around you.”
