Bruce Jenner Undergoes Surgery for Skin Cancer on His Nose: Report
Bruce Jenner has been through some tough athletic battles back in the day, but now he's facing a health-related one.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had surgery this week to remove skin cancer from his nose, according to TMZ.
Sources say that Kris Jenner's husband had a chunk of tissue taken out of his nose on September 16 in a procedure that required a whopping 30 (!) stitches. He was spotted this week with a large bandage covering his nose.
As you may recall, Bruce underwent the same procedure in 2012, with the cancer being removed from the side of his face that time. Bruce is an avid golfer, which appears to be the problem, so doctors apparently have been pleading with him to better protect himself from the sun. Time to slather on the SPF, dude!
It's not unusual for retired athletes to turn to golf in order to fill the gap in their lives that competitive sports used to fill. Bruce won the gold medal in decathlon at the 1976 Olympics in Munich.
We're wishing Bruce all the best as he continues to recover. Let's hope he has a nose for staying out of the sun from now.
