On July 1 — aka Canada Day — Tim Horton’s offered their Poutine Donut at five locations close to the U.S.-Canada border. That’s one of their Honey Dip Donuts piled high with potato wedges, gravy and cheese curds. (Poutine, a traditional Canadian dish, is just that except with no donut.)

“At Tim Hortons restaurants, we’re proud of our Canadian heritage and we want to share a piece of that in the United States,” said Felipe Athayde, executive vice president of Tim Hortons US. “Our new Canadian inspired treats are a great way for Americans to get in on the 150th celebration of their friendly neighbor next door.”

If you don’t live there, don’t fret: The companies say a “nationwide rollout” is coming by 2018.

This sushi burrito is “filled with sushi rice, shredded chicken, cucumber, pickled cabbage, onions, and avocado with tomatillo salsa and lime crema wrapped in a sheet of nori,” Eater reports.

Officially called the Chicken Maki Roll, this lunch item is a new offering in the coffee company’s new Mercato line of food, but so far it’s only available in two locations in downtown Chicago.

Ford and Domino’s are teaming up to test self-driving delivery cars in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

For these preliminary tests, the vehicles will be driven by humans, but presumably, that won’t always be the case!

Once the car pulls into a customer’s driveway, the customer punches in a four-digit code (matching his or her phone number) to unlock a “Heatwave Compartment” on the car containing the saucy, cheesy goodness.

From September 18 to October 1, select Shake Shack locations in New York City and Los Angeles will dole out two varieties of Will & Grace-themed milk shakes, one of which is alcoholic!

The “Will & Grace” is made with cinnamon marshmallow frozen custard and Shack fudge, then topped with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar.

The “Jack & Karen,” though, is made with strawberry frozen custard and Prosecco and topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and raspberry dust.

Better yet, for each of these shacks sold, the fast food chain will donate $2 to GLAAD in order to “support its efforts to share culture-changing LGBTQ stories.”
