Both Noel and CeCe seem to know a lot about Ali’s disappearance. Coincidence? We think not. We think, whatever else these two have going on, that they have both been helping Ali with her life on the run. CeCe was in Ravenswood acting as a Red Coat decoy the night the Liars found the Lair, and Noel outed himself as one of Ali’s helpers in the Season 4 finale when he ushered the Liars from Philly to NYC to meet up with Ali. He didn’t stick around long, taking a phone call and leaving the warehouse after giving Ali the passport and plane ticket necessary for her escape from New York. Our theory: that phone call was from CeCe. We think she used her one phone call to give Noel a ring, to let him know that she had been apprehended by the Rosewood PD, and to plan accordingly. Could Noel’s relationship with CeCe be the secret Ali is holding over his head? Or, better yet, could Noel and CeCe’s murder of Wilden be the secret Ali is holding over his head? Or maybe they’re just all besties. Who ever knows with this show? But we kind of want Noel and CeCe to be a thing.
No. They’re enemies.
The truth is: this show has enough moving parts in the form of supporting characters that we’re never really sure who is working with whom. That phone call Noel took in the Season 4 finale could have easily been from Mona or Lucas or his mom. Or maybe he faked getting a phone call just so he could get away from the awkwardness that was the Liars’ staring. We’ve faked phone calls and texts for far less. We’re also not so sure where CeCe’s allegiances lie following the Season 4 finale. She was wearing the shirt Spencer saw Mrs. D. handing off to someone in the Rosewood woods. Does this mean that CeCe and Ali’s mom were working together? Because that doesn’t really mesh with Noel’s seeming allegiance to Ali. Ali doesn’t want to tell her mother anything about her continued existence or life on the run, which makes Noel and CeCe’s connection somewhat less likely.
Do you think Noel and CeCe are working together? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments below!
