Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Who Was in the Reptile House With the Liars?
In the last episode of Pretty Little Liars, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer were locked inside the zoo’s reptile house with a blonde wigged-person whom had a mission to freak them the hell out. Who was in the reptile house with the Liars? We've got some theories.
The show seems to want us to think it was Mona in the reptile house, and — we have to admit — she’s an excellent suspect. She showed up at the Montgomery resident shortly after the incident, she was seen scheming with Ezra earlier in the episode, and she has extensive experience doing this sort of thing. The only thing working against the Mona-as-reptilian theory is the fact that it’s the most obvious. We’re not sure what Mona is up to, but this show is rarely what it seems.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if the person the Liars were pretending to meet was actually the person they ended up meeting? The mystery character was wearing a blonde wig, but we wouldn’t put it past Alison to wear a blonde wig over her already blonde hair just to be difficult. We also know that she’s in desperate need of some money, and that the Liars (stupidly) brought the coffee bean bag full of dough to the meet. Was Alison listening in the Liars’ staged conversation in front of Ezra at The Brew, and did she then show up at the reptile house to get the money herself?
Was it just us or was the person who was pretending to be Alison pretending to be Spencer super awkward? As in, potentially a man pretending to be a woman? We haven’t seen Lucas for awhile, but we’re super suspicious of the way he has dropped off of the grid. Before he left Rosewood High to be a homeschooler, he was blackmailed into helping the “A” Team (or so he claimed). Might he have been pulled back in? Or, never have left at all?
Mrs. D. has been freaking us out since she returned to Rosewood and started obsessively changing the linens in the shrine that is her daughter’s bedroom. We think she knows a lot more than she’s letting on — and we think there’s a reason her daughter didn’t go to her following her near-death. Has Mrs. D. been playing games with the Liars in the same way her daughter did?
