Caila Quinn was this close to becoming the Bachelorette 2016, but then the role was given to fellow Bachelor contestant JoJo Fletcher instead.

We're sure that wasn't easy for Caila, especially since rumors swirled for weeks, saying she had it in the bag. She even filmed her intro package earlier in the month!

But instead of holding a grudge, the 24-year-old is moving forward...literally. A source tells Us Weekly the software sales rep is moving from Hudson, Ohio to New York City!

"She already had a job lined up [in New York City], and she is so excited! She’s really focused on that right now and just happy about this new start in a new city."

Caila wrote on Instagram on March 17, "Apartment hunting today. Making a mental list of wishes... as much light as possible... good area... in unit laundry... actually who am I kidding - I'll take what I can get (insert cross fingers emoji)."

Caila physically relocating may have a lot to do with moving on from Ben Higgins, too. She fell in love with him on the show, but he broke up with her in Jamaica after Fantasy Suites. Now, it sounds like she's ready for a fresh start.

The source adds, "Caila is excited and hopeful about the possibility of finding love in New York."

That's what we like to hear! And hey, maybe come summer, the new New Yorker will take a break from the hustle and bustle, and head on over to Paradise!

The Bachelorette Season 12 premieres Monday, May 23, 2016 on ABC.
