With so many great contestants on this season of The Bachelor, we thought the Bachelorette 2016 title was still up for grabs...until we saw these very telling photos of Caila Quinn.

The 24-year-old appears to be filming a segment in her hometown of Hudson, Ohio on March 2, where she was spotted with a camera crew at her alma mater, Western Reserve Academy, and other neighborhood spots.

Sure, she could have just been filming for a local news outlet or for a new project, but with all the rumors swirling about her being the next Bachelorette, we can't help but wonder if it was for the show.

TMZ even said, "Onlookers were asked to sign release forms to appear on television, and although the crew didn't specify what show they were shooting for...there are reports Caila is the chosen one."

It would make a lot of sense if the crew was there for the upcoming Season 12. Caila will need to have an intro video at the start of her season for a little fan-refresher on her story — the contestant who thought she found the one in Ben Higgins, but was sent home crying during the Fantasy Suites episode.

Last season's Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe also got sent home during Chris Soules's Fantasy Suites episode, so perhaps ABC is following the same model this time around.

An executive at the network also said earlier in the year, "I’d be very surprised if The Bachelorette in the summer wasn’t diverse. Perhaps I shouldn’t have said that, but I think that’s likely to happen."

Between Caila being the third runner-up and her mother being Filipino, she definitely sounds like the contestant they're looking for as the next leading gal.
