Caitlyn Jenner is going into 2016 with her car crash drama slowing disappearing in the rear-view mirror.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has settled a lawsuit with a woman who was involved in the deadly February accident, which killed one person.

The ones suing Cait, however, weren't family members of victim Kim Howe. Instead, another driver, named Jessica Steindorff, was looking for “compensatory and punitive damages,” People says.

Jessica was driving a Prius in front of Kim’s vehicle and stopped for “unknown reasons.” Kim then hit her brakes and was rear-ended by Kylie Jenner’s dad, 66.

Kim swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting Jessica. She says she “suffered loss of wages and earning capacity” afterwards and was also looking for hospital and medical bill compensation.

Although “settlement” usually means a celebrity had to drop the big bucks to end a lawsuit, TMZ claims Jessica’s insurance company actually reimbursed their client.

While California police dropped all criminal charges in September, Caitlyn has two more legal battles to go over the crash: one case from Kim’s stepchildren and another from a family also involved in the accident.

For everyone’s sakes, let's hope this will all be settled by 2017.
